Today I had another fitting. This time I was fitting my Edna dress. Well at the minute it's not so much a dress but a bodice with a skirt. I constructed a basic bodice block and adjusted it over my padded bra on the stand.
For the skirt, I created a basic fitted skirt block. I matched up the seams of the bodice to the seams of the skirt and sketched in any extra or different seams I wanted to add.
We had such a giggle during this fitting. Gareth couldn't look at me because the boobs of the bra were in the way. He loved being in that dress, I could tell. It's getting very exciting now. I can't wait to start making it out in real fabric.
